Here's how Handled gets custom-label bottles from our side to your office or your recipients' doors, and what decides whether an address is eligible.

Who sells and ships your bottles

Spirits sold and shipped to people in the US go through licensed sellers. On every Handled corporate gifting order, a licensed retailer partner is the merchant of record. They sell and ship the bottles.

Handled handles everything up to that point: sourcing the spirit, designing your label, filing it for federal approval and bottling it. The licensed retailer handles the sale and the shipment.

Our licensed retailer partners ship to most US states; eligibility is confirmed at checkout.

Rules on receiving spirits vary by state and sometimes by locality, and they change. That's why we confirm eligibility at checkout for each address rather than publish a fixed list. If an address isn't eligible, you'll know before it ships.

Programs ship within the United States.

21+ adult signature

• Every recipient must be 21 or older.
• An adult 21+ must be present to sign for each delivery. Packages can't be left at the door.

Bulk to the company vs direct to each recipient

Bulk to your company. The program ships to one business address or event venue, and an adult 21+ signs for it there. Your team handles distribution. Best for in-person teams and events.

Direct to each recipient. Upload a recipient list and each bottle ships to its own address. Eligibility is confirmed for every address at checkout. Best for remote teams and client lists.

Workplace and client gift policies

Some workplaces and industries limit gifts or alcohol: public-sector clients, some financial and legal clients, and companies with their own gift policies. Check before you finalize your list. We can't give legal advice, but we can help you plan a program around the rules you tell us about.

What we won't do

• Ship to anyone under 21.
• Publish a list of states that may be out of date by the time you read it. Eligibility is confirmed at checkout, address by address.
• Call ourselves the seller. A licensed retailer partner is the merchant of record on every order.

Before your program ships, confirm:

• Every recipient is 21 or older.
• Your recipient list has full names, complete addresses and phone numbers.
• Each recipient knows a delivery is coming and that an adult 21+ must sign.
• Client and workplace gift policies allow it.
• Bulk deliveries go to an address where someone 21+ can sign during business hours.

A complete, accurate list is the biggest factor in on-time delivery.
