What private label liquor means

Private label liquor means the brand on the bottle is yours. Your name and logo go on the front label. The liquid is real spirit, chosen for the project. It is not a sticker on someone else's brand.

You approve the label before it is filed. A company gift goes through a quote. A brand you plan to sell starts at Start your bottle.

Private label bourbon

Private label bourbon is bourbon bottled under your label. For bourbon, a program is about one barrel (roughly 200 bottles). The quote confirms the details. Every bottle is 750ml.

Private label whiskey and rye

Private label whiskey and private label rye follow the same shape as bourbon. A rye program is about one barrel (roughly 200 bottles). The quote confirms the details. You pick the profile. Bottles are 750ml.

Private label vodka, gin, tequila and rum

You can private label vodka, private label gin, private label tequila, and private label rum. Program size for vodka, gin, tequila, and rum is confirmed on the quote. These spirits are not quoted as a barrel count.

Who makes it

Licensed partners produce and bottle the spirit. Handled runs the project: the brief, the label, and the schedule. You approve the spirit and the proof.

A licensed retailer partner is the merchant of record and ships the bottles. Licensed retailer partners ship to most but not all states. Eligibility is confirmed at checkout. An adult 21 or older must be present to receive a delivery.

Label design and COLA approval

1. Send artwork or an idea. A logo, finished files, or a reference you like.
2. We design the label. Including the required federal label information.
3. You approve the proof. Nothing is filed until you sign off.
4. It is filed for approval. Federal label approval (a TTB COLA) comes before bottling.

Lead time

Plan on 10-12 weeks. There is no firm order-by date. Put the date you want bottles in hand on the quote. The quote confirms whether that date works.
