How Corporate Gifting Works at Handled

Five steps. One team. Your label on the bottle at the end.

You bring the brand and the list. We handle sourcing, label design, federal label approval, bottling and shipping through our licensed retailer partners. Here's how it runs.

Quote → Design → Label approval → Production → Ship

1. Quote

Tell us the spirit, your rough bottle or recipient count, how it ships, and your target delivery date. Use the quote form or write lfd@handledspirits.com. We reply with a quote for your program.

2. Design

Send finished artwork, a logo and a color, or just an idea. Our team designs the label, including the required federal label information, so you don't have to know the rules.

3. Label approval

We send a proof. You approve it, or ask for changes. Once you sign off, we file the label for federal approval (a TTB COLA). Learn what that involves in What Is a COLA?

4. Production

Your spirit is bottled under your label. We source finished, already-aged spirit from established distilleries, so barrel aging isn't part of your wait. Read How Spirits Get Bottled for what happens on the line.

5. Ship

In bulk to your company, or direct to each recipient. A licensed retailer partner is the merchant of record and ships every order. Our licensed retailer partners ship to most US states; eligibility is confirmed at checkout.

Artwork specs

Good files make a faster proof.

• Logo: vector (AI, EPS, SVG or PDF) preferred. High-resolution PNG is fine to start.
• Colors: Pantone or HEX values if you have brand guidelines.
• Message: a short line for the occasion.
• Brand guidelines: send them if you have them. We'll design within them.

Timeline

Lead times are the same as our creator drops. Rather than repeat it here, our Master Distiller walks through each stage in How Custom Liquor Gets Made.

Two things move your timeline most:

• How fast you approve the proof. The quicker the sign-off, the sooner we file.
• When your recipient list is final. For direct-to-recipient programs, a late list means a late ship date.

Put your target delivery date on the quote. We'll tell you up front if it works. Holiday programs fill first.

Program size

For bourbon, programs start at about one barrel, which bottles out to roughly 200 bottles. It's your company's own barrel. For rye, vodka, gin, tequila and other spirits, program size is confirmed on your quote.

Need more than one barrel? Programs can scale and split across teams or regions. Every bottle is 750ml.

Payment

Corporate gifting is paid upfront. Once you approve your quote, we confirm payment and start design.

We don't publish prices. Every program is quoted on spirit, label, count and ship mode.

Before you request a quote

You don't need everything finalized. These five answers get you an accurate quote faster:

1. Roughly how many bottles or recipients?
2. Which spirit, or should we help you choose?
3. Bulk to one address, direct to each recipient, or both?
4. Do you have a logo file ready?
5. When do the bottles need to arrive?

If you only know one of these, send it anyway. We'll fill in the rest together.
